Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications and provide daily resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This full-time role includes a 11pm-7am shift, every other weekend and holiday, in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities include documentation, assistance with activities of daily living, and promoting resident well-being in accordance with care plans and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist/administer medications under licensed nurse supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and outcomes.
• Support residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist residents in dining and participate in leisure activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the nurse.
