Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under the general supervision of a licensed nurse and within the scope of your license.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration, effects, and any side effects.
• Provide personal care activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, skin care and oral hygiene.
• Assist in dining rooms to provide resident care and monitoring.
• Observe residents and report health and emotional changes to the nurse.
• Promote safety and infection control per facility guidelines; respond to resident requests for assistance.
