Qualifications

• Previous professional line-cook experience required.
• Hotel or full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to quality, cleanliness, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards.
• Set up and stock the assigned station before service.
• Prepare ingredients and complete necessary prep work.
• Cook food accurately and efficiently during evening service.
• Coordinate with other cooks and kitchen staff to complete orders on time.
• Maintain proper portioning, presentation, and product quality.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures.
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store food products.
• Keep the workstation and kitchen equipment clean and organized.
• Assist with closing duties and kitchen cleanup.
• Communicate product or equipment concerns to kitchen leadership.
