The role requires proven kitchen experience, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team-driven environment with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow recipes with precision and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends/evenings/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate cooking equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, stovetops) safely and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in food preparation tasks like chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain proper food storage and meet health and safety standards.
• Keep a clean, sanitary workstation and assist with plating and presentation.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to meet event or meal timing requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and notify Lead Cook of shortages.
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure meals are served at correct temperatures.
