Responsibilities

• Trains new LTAs and students, maintains competency checklists.
• Coordinates and monitors activities of LTAs on shifts.
• Distributes work assignments and liaises between Laboratory and other Departments.
• Demonstrates advanced skills in specimen collection and LIS troubleshooting.
• Directs specimens to appropriate departments and ensures proper reporting.
• Performs tests and processing, including specimen preparation and labeling.
