Job summary

DIG INN Restaurant Teams in Washington, DC is seeking a Chef-in-Training to join our scratch-based kitchens. You will learn culinary skills, prep, cook, and gain exposure to multiple stations while developing leadership in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required and a passion for real food is essential.

The role offers $18.50+ per hour plus $2-3 per hour in tips, with additional benefits and growth opportunities in a team-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains etc using recipes as a guide and taste buds for validation.
• Gain exposure to different stations within the DIG kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout.
• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests - making their day as you provide them with a delicious scratch-made meal.
