DIG INN Chefs-In-Training is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to train as a chef-in-training. The role offers $16-$18 per hour depending on experience, plus $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits.

You will develop cooking skills in a scratch-based kitchen, work across stations, and learn leadership while contributing to a fast-paced culinary environment. A community-minded, inclusive culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Passion for real, good food and desire to learn culinary practices.
• Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to different kitchen stations (garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge).
• Speak with guests about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to create scratch-made meals.
• Support team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in where needed.
• Multi-task in the kitchen while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Uphold DIG food safety standards and anti-discrimination policies.
