DIG INN Chefs-In-Training in New York is seeking a Restaurant Team Member for an entry-level chef pathway. The pay starts at $17–$18 per hour with $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits. You will learn all stations, develop leadership skills, and participate in a fast-paced, scratch-made kitchen environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and a passion for real food. Flexible scheduling supports both part-time and full-time hours, with opportunities to advance within the DIG

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains etc using recipes as a guide and taste buds for validation.
• Gain exposure to different stations within the DIG kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout.
• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests - making their day as you provide them with a delicious scratch-made meal (aka: marketbowl).
• Work to support the team during peak and off peak service, by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
