Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking an Evening shift Telecommunications Operator to work on-site and support the central switchboard. The role requires 32 scheduled hours per week with availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, plus additional weekday hours as needed.

You will answer and route calls, communicate codes and alerts, and use paging systems to reach hospital personnel.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience or related field.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).

Responsibilities

• Receives and relays internal and external calls and provides information according to policy and procedure.
• Troubleshoots system issues when needed.
• Communicates codes, alerts and other announcements according to policies, including disaster management plans.
• Operates beeper and paging system to contact hospital personnel and code team.
• Uses desk directories, on-call lists and reference materials.
