Job summary

Hyatt Place Santa Cruz is seeking a Night Manager to greet guests with a warm welcome and support the Front Office Manager in guiding the team to deliver outstanding hospitality.

Duties include checking in/out guests, handling guest concerns, serving at the bar, assisting in kitchen, and helping with staffing schedules and training; leading the team when the Front Office Manager is absent.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional guest service, problem solving, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Perform check-in and check-out transactions for guests, utilizing computer and cash handling skills.
• Provide service at the bar for alcoholic beverages, as well as helping prepare food in the kitchen.
• Set up and service meetings as needed; assist with staffing schedules and guest service training.
• Lead the team when the Front Office Manager is not available.
