Job summary

Best Western All Suites Inn Santa Cruz, proudly managed by Radiate Hospitality, is seeking a friendly Guest Service Concierge/Front Desk Agent to welcome guests and ensure a seamless stay.

You’ll handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and payments, offer local recommendations, coordinate with housekeeping, and promote hotel services to enhance guest satisfaction. Strong communication and multitasking are essential in our fast-paced Santa Cruz lobby.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk, guest services, reservations, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS and Night Vision Systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.

What You'll Do

As a Guest Service Concierge, you'll be the face of the hotel and play a key role in ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and provide an exceptional first impression.
• Create meaningful connections with guests and personalize their stay whenever possible.
• Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through attentive and proactive service.
• Serve as a local ambassador by providing recommendations for restaurants, attractions, events, and activities in Santa Cruz.

Front Desk Operations

• Efficiently manage guest check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and professionalism.
• Process room reservations, guest requests, payment transactions, and account postings.
• Ensure guest information and payment methods are accurately documented and maintained.
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements, directions, and general hotel information.

Concierge & Guest Services

• Coordinate luggage assistance, local reservations, transportation requests, and special accommodations.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, finding creative solutions to ensure satisfaction.
• Promote hotel amenities, services, and special offerings to enhance the guest experience and encourage return visits.

Teamwork & Hotel Knowledge

• Stay informed about hotel operations, room types, rates, promotions, and local events.
• Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to deliver seamless guest service.
• Maintain awareness of safety and security procedures and promptly report any concerns.
