Job summary

Fresco y Mas is seeking an Evening Manager to oversee daily grocery department operations, including Dairy & Frozen, Dry Grocery, and General Merchandise. You will lead staff, promote excellent customer service, and ensure compliant, high-quality product availability.

The role blends hands-on supervision with administrative duties, focusing on training, scheduling, and maintaining safety standards. English and Spanish proficiency are beneficial for team communication and customer support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the department. Possession of Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain same within 180 days of placement.

Responsibilities

• COMPLIANCE/SAFETY: Ensures safety, proper food handling, sanitation and productivity standards; adheres to regulatory requirements and safety procedures.
