Job summary

Fresco y Mas is seeking a Fresh Manager to lead the Fresh department (Produce & Floral, Meat & Seafood, Deli & Bakery) and its associates. The role balances physical work with leadership, planning and administration to maximize sales and maintain high standards of service and compliance.

The Fresh Manager will drive store leadership, fiscal oversight, and department leadership while developing a high-performance team and ensuring safety/compliance across the department.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the store.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Possession of Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain same within 180 days of placement.

Responsibilities

• Leads and empowers teams to deliver a great shopping experience in alignment with the vision, goals, expectations and policies.
• Manages in-stock conditions, inventory, shrink and expenses including labor and supply management.
• Delegates authority, responsibility and accountability to department managers and coaches them on KPIs, stocking, customer service and safety.
• Supports hiring and training execution in the fresh departments and ensures onboarding and training of new associates.
• Adheres to regulatory compliance requirements pertaining to food safety and recalls while maintaining safety culture.
