The SpringHill Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport/RTP in Durham, NC is hiring a full-time Front Desk Associate to welcome guests, handle check-in/out, and provide local information. The role may require operating the hotel shuttle and working a 3pm-11pm shift; weekend availability is expected. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are essential.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of front desk experience and familiarity with hotel reservation systems. Daily pay option is available.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working as a hotel front desk agent.
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with Lightspeed, FOSSE or PEP is a plus.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at check-in with a smile and complete registration according to standards.
• Greet guests at check-out, confirm charges and update guest profile as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of room types, rates, packages, and local area information.
• Upsell hotel services and promote loyalty programs.
• Answer phone with professional etiquette and assist inquiries promptly.
• Resolve guest questions or issues, escalate to a manager if needed.
• Complete end-of-shift tasks and reports and verify payments.
