Job summary

SpringHill Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport/RTP in Durham, NC is hiring a part-time Breakfast Attendant for 5:30am-11:30am shifts, with weekday and weekend availability required. The role focuses on providing friendly morning service and keeping the breakfast area ready for guests.

Duties include preparing items, setting up service area, checking temperatures, refilling and cleaning, and supporting inventory. Daily pay is available after each shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a customer-facing role.
• Must be able to arrive on time for early morning shift (breakfast area set up by 6 AM).
• Professional demeanor in appearance and communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests and associates.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to hotel guests in a friendly, attentive manner.
• Prepares cold and hot breakfast items before service start (fruit/vegetables, coffee, etc.).
• Sets up breakfast area according to brand standards (dishes, utensils, labels, stations).
• Checks hot items every 30 minutes to maintain temperatures and proper quantities.
• Checks cold items and pastries every 30 minutes for freshness and temperatures.
• Bus, clear and clean tables; wash utensils and clean up spills; remove trash.
• Complete closing duties and restock items; secure equipment and keep logs.
