Home2 Suites by Hilton in Queensbury, NY seeks a Hotel Front Desk Agent to be the guests’ first point of contact, handling check-in/check-out, reservations and guest inquiries. This on-site role supports guest services and coordinates with housekeeping to ensure room readiness.

The position requires 3pm–11pm shifts, weekends and holidays, and a commitment to delivering a positive, memorable experience for every guest. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as hotel front desk or receptionist.
• Willingness to train.
• Familiarity with travel sites (Booking/TripAdvisor).
• Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Register guests and manage check-in/check-out tasks.
• Handle online and phone reservations.
• Inform guests about rates, payments and amenities.
• Welcome guests on arrival and assign rooms.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.
• Confirm group reservations and special requests.
• Upsell facilities and services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
• Liaise with other hotel staff to meet guest needs.
• Provide information about local attractions and services.
• Support VIP guests and event attendees when required.
• Ensure data privacy and security of guest information.
• Follow hotel policies and standards at all times.
