Job summary

SP+ is seeking a facility maintenance and customer-facing teammate in Malden, MA. The role involves cleaning, light maintenance, and helping customers within the garage and office areas. You will patrol the garage, handle safety checks, and assist with various duties as needed.

Typical shifts are Tuesday to Saturday from 4:00pm to 12:30am. The position pays $22.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• May require facility maintenance, electrical and or painting experience and/or skills training depending on the job assignment and facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained.
• Walk the garage daily to note and correct maintenance problems.
• Sweep and clean entrances, exits, rails, and offices.
• Empty trashcans in garage, booth, and office.
• Paint surfaces to keep facilities neat and clean.
• Replace burned out bulbs.
• Apply oil absorbent to spills.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests.
• Check safety items and gate operations.
• Monitor ticket spitters and gates for proper operation.
• Record gate counters for management.
• Keep inventory of janitorial supplies.
• Maintain sweep sheets.
• Operate sweepers, scrubbers and other equipment.
• Shovel/plow/blow snow from ramps and designated areas.
• Report policy violations or safety hazards promptly.
• Practice customer satisfaction principles and assist customers.
• Resolve customer complaints with supervisor help.
• Be familiar with operation and cover other duties as needed.
• Maintain neat appearance and uniform.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
