Job summary

Veho is seeking an Outbound Flow Lead - Transportation & Dock to bridge Transportation and Dock Operations during the evening shift, working on the dock and in the yard to catch problems before they become service failures.

This role requires influencing teams without formal authority, identifying consolidation opportunities, and coordinating with drivers and operations to keep delays from impacting performance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in hub, dock, or yard operations or related logistics.
• Comfortable using data tools and dashboards as part of daily decisions.
• Ability to influence peers and cross-functional partners without formal authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work evening/overnight hours consistently.
• Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps daily.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Be present and observe dock operations to identify opportunities and provide real-time feedback to teams.
• Use available tools to flag ad hocs or cancellations and bring findings for approval.
• Conduct yard walks during CPT windows, coordinating with drivers and providing check-in/out support.
• Track inbound delays and communicate downstream impact to hubs.
• Represent Transportation/Dock issues in daily syncs with partners and managers.
• Assist with end-of-shift wrap-up, organizing pallets by CPT and ensuring quality.
• Send end-of-shift reports summarizing issues and opportunities.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment on dock and yard.
