Job summary

Veho is hiring an Outbound Flow Lead - Transportation & Dock to bridge the Transportation and Dock Operations during the evening shift. You will monitor dock activities, spot consolidation opportunities, and flag carrier issues to influence real-time responses.

You'll work on the dock and in the yard, coordinating with drivers and GO partners to minimize delays while supporting CPT windows. This role requires 1–2 years in logistics and a proactive, data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in hub, dock, or yard operations.
• Comfortable using data tools and dashboards as part of daily decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to influence peers and cross-functional partners without formal authority over them.
• Strong communication skills — verbal and written.
• Willingness to work evening/overnight hours consistently.
• Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Be present and observe dock operations to identify consolidation opportunities and provide real-time feedback to Operations and Transportation teams.
• Use available tools to identify potential ad hocs or cancellations, and bring findings to GO for approval.
• Conduct yard walks during key carrier pickup time (CPT) windows, coordinating with and directing drivers as needed, including check-in/check-out support.
• Track inbound late injections and communicate downstream impact to affected hubs.
• Represent Transportation/Dock issues in daily syncs with GO partners and Logistics Managers.
• Assist with wrap-down efforts at the end of shift, including organizing pallets by CPT and ensuring wrap and cap quality.
• Send end-of-shift reporting summarizing ad hocs, cancellations, consolidation opportunities, and carrier issues.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment — standing, walking the dock and yard, and moving boxes or pallets as needed.
