Job summary

Veho, a growing logistics innovator in Indianapolis, is seeking an Outbound Flow Lead - Transportation & Dock to bridge evening shift activities between Transportation and Dock Operations. You will monitor dock operations, identify consolidation opportunities, and guide real-time responses to carrier issues to minimize service failures.

The role emphasizes real-time decision-making, cross-team collaboration, and on-site presence on the dock and yard.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in hub, dock, yard operations, or related logistics.
• Comfortable using data tools and dashboards for daily decisions.
• Ability to influence peers and cross-functional partners without formal authority.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Willingness to work evening/overnight hours consistently.
• Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps daily.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Be present and observe dock operations to identify consolidation opportunities and provide real-time feedback to Operations and Transportation teams.
• Use available tools to identify potential ad hoc or cancellations, and bring findings to GO for approval.
• Conduct yard walks during CPT windows, coordinating with drivers and providing check-in/check-out support.
• Track inbound late injections and communicate downstream impact to affected hubs.
• Represent Transportation/Dock issues in daily syncs with GO partners and Logistics Managers.
• Assist with wrap-down at end of shift, organizing pallets and ensuring wrap quality.
• Send end-of-shift reports summarizing ad hoc issues, cancellations, and carrier problems.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment, standing, walking dock/yards, moving boxes or pallets.
