FedEx Freight in the United States is seeking a dock attendant to transport freight across the dock area to and from trailers for loading onto trailers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior warehousing, freight handling and/or forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move freight repeatedly throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight using motorized and manual equipment.
• Verify documentation matches freight description.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps or rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight documentation as needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies.
