Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Dispatch Operator for second shift to support Central Communications in Phoenix. This in-person role handles PBX-style calls, dispatches hospital resources, and serves as a frontline customer service agent across multiple software platforms.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in call answering and radio dispatching in a healthcare setting. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and a sign-on bonus. Evening hours required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience in call answering and radio dispatching preferred.
• Hospital operator and/or security dispatching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and support internal and external customers.
• Dispatch resources to emergencies and security incidents.
• Use multiple software platforms to resolve caller needs.
• Provide numbers, resources, and information to callers.
• Document all calls and service lines.
• Monitor surveillance and alarms as needed.
• Cover phones after hours for other centers and on weekends.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff.
