Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking DSPs to provide direct care and skill-building support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and substance use recovery. DSPs will assist with ADLs, administer medications after training, and document activities in the EHR while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include transportation, meal preparation, community engagement, and ensuring privacy and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must successfully complete all background checks.
Must successfully complete health screening (TB).

Responsibilities

Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) based on individual needs and plan.
Administer prescribed medication(s) to identified individuals upon completion of training.
Safely transport individuals in company-approved vehicles for community integration.
Complete all required documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) timely.
Prepare meals and snacks provided by the individual and/or family.
Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in the support plan.
Engage with individuals in the day program and community while upholding professional boundaries.
Uphold individual rights and ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy.
