Job summary

Selah House Indiana seeks a part-time Dietary Care Specialist to support client meals and dietary needs in a licensed inpatient treatment center. The role includes greeting clients, managing orders, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure safe, nutritious meals.

The position requires at least 1 year in food service, strong customer service, and a high school diploma. Must be reliable, with availability 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in food service and preparation.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Proficiency with basic computer software (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Manage food orders and pickups to ensure timely supply chain operations.
• Lead weekly culinary group sessions for clients and support dietary needs.
• Assist in kitchen operations and ensure food safety and sanitation standards.
