Selah House Indiana is seeking a Dietary Care Specialist to support the dietary needs of clients in a home-like environment. You will greet and serve clients, assist with daily kitchen operations, and participate in group culinary activities.

The role includes a scheduled shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with occasional weekend requirements. You will collaborate with a professional team to ensure safe, nutritious meals and a welcoming dining experience for clients and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in food service and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manages food orders and pickups for both locations, ensuring timely and efficient supply chain operations.
• Facilitates orientation sessions for new DCS employees, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Leads weekly culinary group sessions for clients, fostering engagement and culinary exploration.
• Ensures that any special dietary needs of the clients are met.
• Follows health and safety guidelines for storage and preparation of food items.
