Job summary

IMCS is hiring a Desktop Support Technician I for a 13-week contract in Kansas City, KS. The role focuses on providing desktop and technical support to end users, troubleshooting and upgrading computer equipment, and documenting tickets within SLAs.

Qualifications include 1–3 years IT experience, a High School Diploma, and Windows Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months. New grads with an Associate Degree or candidates with relevant experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years IT experience preferred.
• Previous desktop support experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Microsoft Windows Certification or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months.
• New graduates may be considered with an Associate Degree in Computer Systems or a related field.
• Candidates without a degree should have at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, install, configure, and upgrade computer equipment.
• Document service tickets and work within established SLAs.
• Provide basic technical training to end users.
• No floating or on-call requirement.
