Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and handle hazardous waste tasks while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 3-6 months of training or experience; a valid driver’s license and safety certifications may be required. Excellent communication with staff and customers is valued in this role.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and safety certifications.
• Bilingual a plus and ability to read and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Speak professionally with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers.
