Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and assist with daily schedules.

You will follow safety rules, wear PPE, and work with a team. Some Hazardous Waste responsibilities, incident reporting, and adherence to procedures are required. Training may be 3–6 months; forklift cert and valid driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training preferred.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Driver's license may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Hazardous Waste: collect, classify, sort, store, ship/receive, label, and recycle hazardous waste.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work as a team with other employees.
• Keep work area clean and perform repetitive tasks.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and reporting systems.
