Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all areas assigned. You will handle janitorial duties, operate motorized cleaning equipment, and maintain daily upkeep while following safety policies.

The role requires adherence to safety rules and teamwork, with professional interaction with supervisors and customers. Training in hazardous waste handling and proper PPE usage is included.

Qualifications

• Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment to maintain different areas.
• Maintain daily upkeep of the assigned area and report hazards to supervisor.
