Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role requires adherence to safety rules and effective communication with leads and peers.

The position covers varied shifts with competitive hourly pay. Candidates should be prepared to perform hazardous waste duties, operate cleaning equipment, and work in a team to meet daily targets while presenting a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and safety task training certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment and their safe, efficient use.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as listed on the daily schedule.
• Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures.
