Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain cleanliness across assigned areas. The role requires following safety rules and daily schedules to ensure high standards of hygiene.

Ideal candidates are able to read instructions, communicate effectively, and work well in a team with the shift lead. A bilingual ability is a plus, and forklift certification may be required for certain sites.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and safety training certification.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and operate cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Follow daily schedule and safety protocols to maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain the assigned area and report hazards or incidents.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct; communicate professionally with staff and customers.
• Participate in team tasks and assist shift lead with punch-list items.

Education

No formal education required

3-6 months training or experience preferred

Read and interpret instructions

Strong verbal and written communication

Bilingual a plus

Cleaning methods and equipment knowledge

Safe handling of cleaning chemicals

Tools
