Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks a dependable Custodian to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, manage routine tasks, and handle hazardous waste responsibilities. The role requires operating cleaning equipment, following safety rules, and collaborating with the team to ensure a high standard of hygiene.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 months of experience or training, can read and interpret instructions, and communicates effectively with staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus; reads and interprets procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemical safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Follow the daily schedule and complete listed tasks.
• Handle hazardous waste collection, classification, storage, and labeling.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules and company procedures.
• Work in a team and take direction from supervision.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform repetitive tasks.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
