Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned facilities. The role emphasizes safe, efficient janitorial duties and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, reporting hazards, and collaborating with a team to complete tasks. A bilingual ability is a plus, with no strict education requirement beyond 3–6 months of training or experience; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
