Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role involves following a daily schedule, operating cleaning equipment, and reporting hazards to supervisors.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 months of experience or training, can read instructions, and communicates clearly. A bilingual ability is a plus; a driver’s license may be required for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual a plus; ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment; knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe use.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Follow the daily schedule and assigned duties.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks and hit punch-list items.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct; communicate professionally with customers.
