Job summary

Mission Prep Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator) in Fallbrook, CA. The role supports adolescents in residential treatment, coordinating activities and ensuring safety and well-being.

The position emphasizes teamwork with clinical staff, adherence to policy, and compassionate client care. A valid driver’s license, background checks, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• Background checks: Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and other Federal/State checks.
• Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid license with driving eligibility criteria.
• Physical requirements: Ability to walk/stand, lift up to 20 lbs., navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transport clients to daily activities and ensure timely arrival.
• Use intervention and communication skills with clients, families, and staff daily and in crisis.
• Adhere to Joint Commission policies including infection control and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff on medication management and document medication use.
• Maintain clean and safe residences and foster a supportive environment.
• Engage with clients to support wellness and recovery within CA DSS regulations.
