RR Donnelley is seeking a Collator Operator for the 2nd shift in Osage, IA. The role involves setting up and operating collating and labeling equipment to meet customer specifications, with attention to quality and efficiency.

A $2/hr shift premium applies, and overtime may be required, including weekends. The position offers a starting rate of $24.44/hr (including shift differential) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret written work orders or specifications for collating requirements.
• Knowledge of quality and machining requirements for various paper stock types.
• Skill in setting up/adjusting machines to refine adjustments for weight, color, and quality of stock.
• Must be able to calculate distances and fits in combining machines.
• Skilled with standard and specialized tools to adjust and maintain collating machines.
• Familiar with folding, gluing, perforating, and cutting operations on printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate collating and/or labeling/patching machines to produce value added end products.
• Review specifications and adjust equipment for required collating from web rolls, label application, or window patching.
• Operate related finishing processes including folding, perforating, and cutting as required.
• Perform safety inspections, document issues, and track production during operation.
