Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders to determine collating requirements.
• Knowledge of paper stock quality and machining requirements.
• Skill in setting up machines for finishing operations and adjusting for weight/color/machinability.
• Ability to calculate distances and tolerances between machines.
• Proficient use of tools to adjust and maintain equipment.
• Knowledge of operating requirements and limitations of collating/label machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate collating and labeling/patching machines.
• Review specifications and set up equipment for forms collating, label affixing, or window patching.
• Run equipment that assembles signatures, staples, glues, folds, or cuts to form finished sets.
• Perform safety inspections, document problems, and track production.
