Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications for collating.

• Skill in setting up and adjusting finishing machines for weight, color, and quality.
• Ability to calculate distances, clearances, and fits in combining machines.
• Skill in using standard and specialized tools to adjust collating equipment.
• General knowledge of collating/label machines for folds, gluing, perforating, cutting.
• Thorough knowledge of setup and operation of collating machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate collating/labeling/patching machines for value-added in-process work.
• Review specifications and adjust equipment for customer-required collating from web rolls.
• Operate equipment for assembling, perforating, stapling, gluing, folding, or cutting sheets.
• Perform safety inspections, document problems, and track production during operation.
