Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications for collating sequences.
• Knowledge of paper stock quality for coated and uncoated types.
• Skill in setup and adjustment of finishing machines to meet weight, color, and quality requirements.
• Ability to calculate distances, clearances, and fits in machine operations.
• Proficiency with standard tools to adjust collating and label application equipment.
• Understanding of folding, gluing, perforating, and cutting in printed materials.
• Familiarity with machine safety inspections and problem documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate collating and/or labeling/patching machines.
• Review specifications and configure equipment for customer-specific requirements.
• Perform forming, patching, stapling or cutting steps as part of finishing sequence.
• Conduct safety inspections and document production issues.
