Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a 2nd Shift Machinist to operate CNC lathes or vertical machining centers and produce precision parts. You will read blueprints, measure with calipers and micrometers, and participate in tooling and programming prove-outs.

You will join a team focused on quality and safety with on-the-job training on first shift before transitioning to your assigned hours, emphasizing continuous improvement and reliability.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Technical degree with 2+ years machinist experience.
• Alternatively 5+ years machinist experience with machinist cert preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Center or CNC Lathe to produce precision parts.
• Read engineering blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Repair or fabricate mechanical instruments and conduct tooling/proving with manufacturing engineering.
• Meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards while maintaining documentation.
