Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Turn Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 11:30 pm) in Minnesota. This role entails setting up and operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and inspecting parts for quality. A strong focus on safety and precise tolerances is essential.

We offer a competitive hourly range with a Friday half-day, plus a $4 shift differential. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience and proficiency with 5 Axis, Lathe, Calipers, Micrometers, Mastercam, and CMM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC Mill Turn Operator experience in engineering.
• Experience with 5 Axis, Lathe, Calipers, Micrometers, Mastercam, CMM.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• HS diploma or equivalent; engineering-related certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to drill, grind, and mill according to specs.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand task requirements.
• Translate instructions into machine commands for correct operation.
• Load raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Inspect finished parts with micrometers and calipers for conformance.
• Supervise machines and adjust to improve quality.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Troubleshoot machine-related issues.
• Maintain health and safety standards and a clean workspace.
