Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our long-term care residents. The role provides resident-centered care and daily living assistance during an evening shift (2pm-10pm) with a 40-hour work week and a sign-on bonus.

The CNA supports the nursing team under the supervision of an RN, following infection prevention and PPE guidelines. Responsibilities include basic health care tasks, vital sign checks, meal assistance, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and recreational activities.
• Document interactions and assist with care plan adherence.
