Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan delivers resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care tasks while following infection prevention and PPE policies.

You will support transfers and range-of-motion activities, help with meals, and contribute to a positive dining experience. Join a team dedicated to compassionate care in a Christian environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification required or in process of obtaining certification.
• Minimum 12 hours continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking using safe techniques.
• Assist with meals and dining, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
