The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan serves as a caregiver to residents during the evening shift, delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN. You will help with bathing, meals, mobility, and basic health tasks while following care plans and infection control policies.

Responsibilities include documenting care, communicating changes to staff, and supporting wellness programs.

Formación

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with the State Board, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.
• 12 hours continuing education annually.
• For applicable states, certified and registered with the UAP Registry.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and valid driver's license.
• Medically qualified to perform essential driving functions as per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with transfers, meals, and recreational activities; support infection prevention.
