Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care at Prairie View Gardens in Kearney, NE. The role includes administering medications under supervision, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting wellness programs.

The position is part-time, evening shift 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, with every other weekend/holiday rotation and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Nebraska CNA certification is required at hire, with state-specific requirements noted.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska CNA certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum age of 18; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Completion of required continuing education credits annually as mandated by state.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain state-specific CMA/CNA certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medication administration, and vital signs.
• Assist with meals, activities, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse.
