Sanford Health, a major rural health system, seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) for Prairie View Gardens in Kearney, NE. The role covers 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm shifts, with 20 hours per week and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. The MA provides resident-centered care under a charge nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and medication administration as delegated by a licensed nurse. CNA license and CMA considerations may apply based on state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska CNA license required at time of hire.
• Minimum age 18; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.
• When applicable, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under charge nurse supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist residents with meals, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility; support housekeeping and laundry as needed.
