Job summary

Good Samaritan in Superior, NE is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health needs, and support the well-being of residents in a compassionate, faith-informed setting.

The role includes administering prescribed medications, recording vital signs, and communicating changes to the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3 months experience in long-term care preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• State CMA/CNA certification requirements must be met where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care outcomes and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility as needed.
• Support dining, wellness activities, and maintain clean, safe living areas.
