Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide resident-centered care in a 60-bed long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and collaborate with licensed nurses to ensure safe medication administration.

Qualifications include Nebraska CNA and CMA licensing, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 18; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Active Nebraska CNA and Med Aide licenses required at time of hire.
• State-required certification for CMA/TMA may apply depending on location.
• Successful completion of state-approved CMA/Medication Aide courses where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medication administration and vital signs.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and mobility assistance.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and report changes to supervision.
