Good Samaritan Society – Canistota is a 55-bed facility located about 30 minutes from Sioux Falls, offering rehabilitation and senior living. The Medication Assistant (MA) role requires CMA/CNA certification and provides resident-centered care with medications under a licensed nurse.

Evening shifts are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with every other weekend/holiday expectations. This part-time CMA opening includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a $2.50/hr location premium.

Qualifikationen

• Must currently have CNA and CMA certification.
• Minimum age of 18; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Must complete state-specific competency testing and maintain continuing education credits.

Aufgaben

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care outcomes, medications, behavior, and dietary changes; communicate with charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion; support dining and meal service.
