Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on the 3PM - 11PM shift. You will deliver daily resident care under supervision, complying with policies and standards to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting observations, reporting changes to nursing staff, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment for residents and their families. Prior CNA training and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing arts course from an accredited program.
• Be at least 16 years old and possess high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification required or obtained within two weeks.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to care for ill, disabled and elderly residents.
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff.
• Personable, enthusiastic and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Follow nursing procedures and facility policies in daily care tasks.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Develop written care plans with staff input.
• Participate in care conferences and family councils when invited.
• Report concerns to the Administrator and Nurse.
• Monitor residents and respond to call lights promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe rooms and restock supplies.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as instructed.
